Real Tamarindo Wedding ~ Luke & James

Real Tamarindo Wedding ~ Luke & James

Where to even begin with Luke and James’ real Tamarindo wedding!?!?

I guess you could begin with the immense gratitude and love you feel from the moment you meet them and their friends and family.  We had only ever spoken on the phone, and that was maybe one or two times during the entire planning process.  And upon meeting them and their family at Casa Bali, it felt like instant connection, not just to Luke and James, but to their family.  There was a lot of love there.  Its pretty amazing and special, because they not only work together in business, but they vacation together, and have dinner together, etc….and you can see how close they are from the first moment you meet them!  Its a special special thing they have, and how they make all that work…well, the world needs more of it!

So these two know how to party!  And thats what they wanted to do for their wedding.  They did not want a sit down dinner, this wedding was made for moving and dancing!  Their group of 80 sat for their ceremony, performed by Stephen Denton, who always does the most wonderful job!  Following the ceremony, passed apps and drinks with a view.  Then it starts!  Generally Carnival is reserved for the end of the night…NOPE…they wanted the sparkly clad girls and drums to get the party started!  It was amazing.  They led the group up from the garden, upstairs, and pool side…the dancing started and did not stop from then on.

Carnival was followed by heavy passed appetizers and stations, cocktails and more music!  There were a few breaks for the most heartfelt toasts you’ve ever heard, more dancing, delicious cake, more dancing, and to top it off, fireworks!

As I said above, its hard to find a group with so much love, and not just for the couple, but in general.  It is no wonder that Luke and James are so kind, happy, and wonderful together and as individuals, they were raised by it and are surrounded by it daily!  Thank you for letting me be part of your special day!  Come back soon!
