Kathryn & Chris
Rain on a wedding day means lots of luck…so this is one lucky couple! Kathryn and Chris were married on one of the last days of our rainy season….go figure. I was amazed, and even told the groom, how wonderfully they were both taking the rain and complete change of plans, as we had to go with Plan B, for ceremony, cocktail party, and dance floor. And did I mention it was the largest wedding to date, 141 people! Maya Angelou said, “You can tell a lot about a person by the way they handle three things: a rainy day, lost luggage and tangled Christmas tree lights.” Kathryn and Chris, it was your rainy wedding day, and you handled it better than most would handle a rainy “any-day”, I’m grateful to have met you and “worked” with you. Congratulations! I wish you all the best!
Oh, and I just adored doing their design. A mix of rustic and modern. Using geometric shapes with natural woods, I think it came together nicely. I was so happy that Kathryn (and Chris), trusted me completely with the design and let me roll with it. I had so much fun!
